Welcome visitors from Brain Stab and About Town - your patronage is greatly appreciated. Try the veal, I'm here all week, etc etc.

The first thing you'll probably notice is that NGA hasn't been updated in a while. In my defense, I've just started a new job, and I was using all my funny over here and such. But in an effort to entice you to come back, I'll be a doing a refresh very soon. I promise. Pinky swear.

Some cartoons which haven't yet been posted here will be up in the next couple of days. And I'm planning on making some new ones (so if there's anything you'd like to see covered in a future NGA, please speak out...).

In the meantime, for some cartoony goodness, scroll down, or visit the archives on the right.

That exhibition I mentioned a while ago opens this Thursday at 6pm. 25 cartoonists (and 75 artworks) are being represented. Why not come take a look?

pretensions of artistic merit

I am pleased to report that Newtown Ghetto Anger will be appearing in an exhibition of the work of Wellington Cartoonists at Mezzo Gallery, City Library, from 15 - 29 April.

I'm not 100% sure which cartoons to include though - please feel free to nominate your favourites (but get in quick - I think I need to submit stuff by something like the end of next week).

More details as they come to hand.

This is the first of the 4 cartoons I have so far submitted to Salient. I have no idea if they have actually used them, as I've had no feedback and have been out of the country (if anyone has seen NGA in Salient, please let me know).

monitors can suck my ass

So I got my monitor back from repair. Then I went away on holiday. Then I came back from holiday, and my monitor broke AGAIN. Which once again leaves my main computer useless. But this time I'm prepared. Tonight, using a borrowed monitor, I will extract the necessary files to resurrect Newtown Ghetto Anger. Then only a lightning storm will be required to once again cause life to course through it's shrivelled undead veins.

Watch this space.
